| The Dome Garden, New Media Installation, 2008. Part of Revo/Over at The Taubman Museum of Art Roanoke, VA. The Dome Garden was created by Professor Simone Paterson with assistance from students Sabrina Kilian, Bryan Lawson, and Dane Webster. The piece is activated by a tiny camera and responds to motion across the surface of the dome. Within the dome are “bots” (short for robots) that are bird/fish creatures that follow you. The harp sounds are created by Professor Paterson. |
