The physical space that I inhabit contributes greatly to my artistic research. As a new permanent resident living in a post 9/11 America, the rigors of relocation and adjustment to a different culture have had a huge impact on me. Much of my current work examines the differences between the land of my birth (Australia) and the USA. Issues of immigration, which include language, meaning and traditions, pervade my creative agenda.
