The Apple 1 was the first computer released by Apple in 1976. Steve Wozniak designed and hand-built the Apple 1 with Steve Jobs handling sales. It was a circuit board made from a MOS (short for Metal Oxide Semiconductor) Technology, 6502 1MHz processor, 8KB RAM, 40x24-pixel graphics and a built-in video terminal, which was distinctive at the time. Not supplied with the Apple 1 board were a case, keyboard, or a video monitor/TV.
